Now every
Wednesday
Jam
session
The
official "Jam Session on Wednesdays at Carli's" season started this week on Wednesday the 15th with a big bang featuring
some of the members of the Rolling Stones tour band. Stones' back
up singer Blondie Chaplin, who toured for many years with the Beach
Boys along with Carli Muñoz during the 70's, paid Carli's
a long due visit, bringing along some of the other band members
such as singers Lisa Fisher, Bernard Fowle and Horn section tenor
player Tim Ries.
Some of the local musicians that joined for the fun were the percussionist
Paoli Mejias and Ricardo Pons on alto sax and " Indio " on flute.
Long time Carli's sidekick drummer Gonchi Sifre and bassist Gabriel
Rodriguez held the rhythm section together with Carli Muñoz
on piano.
